Everything about the retreat with Sally was special from start to finish. I had been on day retreats with Sally and love her Shake the Dust practice and how she planned those days and knew I’d feel very comfortable with her leading a weekend retreat.
This isn’t a classic yoga weekend, you’ll find yourself opening up, moving your body, sharing and leaving behind some worries and long held beliefs. This was a spiritual experience that left me feeling open and cleansed. You will chant, share cacao and dance like nobody is watching!
The setting was beautiful and the food exceptional - cooked with love by private vegan chef Jenny.
At the end of the weekend I felt light, liberated and joyful. I feel lucky to have made some new friends, some of us have met up since and will always have the bond of sharing a magical weekend together.
— Anna Stewart

Tell me more…

Come enjoy the stunning Spring sunsets on the Cambrian Coast of Tywyn, Wales, with views of the epic landscapes of Snowdonia on our doorstep.

Our home for the weekend will be in the charming seaside town of Tywyn in Wales. A little gem surrounded by beaches, waterfalls, lakes and mountains all within walking distance.

The beach is a 10-minute walk away, and the town is nestled among rolling hills punctuated with lazy lakes and happily grazing livestock.

The enchanting venue is the perfect spot for group activities that nurture mind, body, and spirit. You can expect a 3 night immersion into somatics, with plenty opportunities to explore within practices and also in nature.

This retreat allows you time inside and outside for you, self-inquiry and inner listening, by giving you space from the pressures of daily life, and also through accessing a collection of carefully curated practices for embodiment and somatic expression. All held within a space of love with the potential to connect to like-minded souls.

Underpinned by the values of evolution, awakening through the body, community, compassion and of course having fun!!

We will be immersed in a range of practices, supportive of all abilities, which means no prior experience is necessary to benefit from them.

What do others say about coming on retreat with me?

The retreat at Charity Farm was my first ever retreat. I signed up because I love Sally’s approach to embodied work around yoga - and particularly, ‘shake the dust’. The retreat venue was lovely - characterful and cosy. It was fantastic working with Sally over a prolonged period of time, and being able to go deeper into embodied experiences with her. The other woman on the retreat were wonderful - we all formed a bond that will not easily be broken. The vegan chef was beyond amazing - the food was out of this world in taste and presentation, and Jennie was a charismatic addition to our little group. I can thoroughly recommend a retreat with Sally.
— Lorrrie Marchington
I cannot recommend this retreat highly enough. If you are looking for healing and peace within a completely safe space - this is it. Sally’s practices consist of partly movement, partly yoga, partly meditation and partly a touch of absolute magic. Every single one of us let something go, and felt a real sense of inner peace by the end of the weekend.
The venue was incredible - a gorgeous farmhouse with thick stone walls, and idyllic grounds. The wood fires were always lit - we were so toasty & warm despite the wintry weather. Remote, cosy and with everything you might need for a relaxing break away - including hot tub & sauna!
Jenny, the plant-based chef, brought a whole new level to the retreat - the food was beautifully presented with edible flowers, and every mouthful was so delicious and nutritious. Don’t worry if you’ve never tried vegan food before - this absolutely doesn’t taste like “just veg”!
I’ve been on several yoga retreats before - but this was really special. Sally kept the numbers down to 8 which made it feel like a really intimate & supportive group. As we spent the time together, we felt confident enough to share what was on our minds/hearts - and really let go of what wasn’t serving us any more. This particularly happened during the fire ceremony - where we wrote down what we wanted to let go of - and literally burnt it in the fire!
This retreat, and the coaching calls which were part of the package, have had a tangible impact on my life. I’ve come away with more confidence, armed with tools to help me get rid of unhelpful thoughts/habits. The retreat was joyful & life-affirming, challenging & emotional, and I’ve made some really supportive friends for life.
